Thrive Chiropractic - your local wellness centre

Providing quality chiropractic care, advice and information for babies, children, adults and seniors – Chiropractors Iain and Kelly Guest aim to empower their clients to obtain and maintain optimal health and performance for life.

Having completed their studies and successfully run Vital Chiropractic in Albany, Auckland, Iain and Kelly moved to the Kapiti Coast to be closer to Iain’s parents and to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle.

Armed with a vision of creating a chiropractic centre that would be as much about the community as it would be about quality care – Iain and Kelly wanted to create a practice where everyone could enjoy the benefits.

Iain and Kelly gave themselves 8 weeks to restore an old 1950’s house into a modern chiropractic office. Time was very limited, it rained a lot and there were a number of obstacles that had to be overcome - not least some discussions about paint colours, which Kelly won.

They pulled out walls, painted, scraped, hammered, glued and threw concrete. Kelly even moved every one of the concrete blocks (32kg each) for the retaining wall across the car-park by herself!

After a celebratory morning tea for all the tradesmen, supporters and helpers who had been involved in the project the final act of renovation was the painting of the car-park lines which was completed on Sunday 1st October 2006.

Thrive Chiropractic opened it's doors on Monday 2nd October 2006 on schedule.

After a lot of hard work and dedication by Iain, Kelly, their families (Kelly’s handyman Dad and Mum came down from Whangarei to help), and some fantastic local tradesmen and generous friends Thrive Chiropractic is fulfilling Iain and Kelly's ongoing vision.
