Taking care of you

Our approach

The human body is designed for individual perfection within it’s genetic limits.   Every day we are exposed to physical, emotional and chemical stressors - the quality of our life is based on how well we adapt, overcome or rise above them.

At Thrive Chiropractic we look to revitalize rather than to numb, to use natural rather than artificial, to release rather than control, to enhance rather than compensate.

A shift away from disease/sickness care towards proactive/wellness care is the way of the future.  At Thrive we look forward to a lifetime of service and commitment to you and your family.

How chiropractic care works

Chiropractic care is not just about back pain - chiropractic care recognizes the body’s great ability to heal itself.

Chiropractic care is natural. Chiropractors do not use drugs or surgery.

Interference to the nervous system inhibits the body’s ability to function at its best. By making gentle adjustments to the spine chiropractors remove the interference, this improves your overall health and well-being and helps you to reach your full potential.

Who can benefit from chiropractic care?

Everybody - our clients include new born babies, infants, school children, tertiary students, pregnant woman, labourers, office workers, business people, teachers, healthcare workers, scientists, dancers, athletes, senior citizens and many more.

Everyone benefits from having their spine checked and adjusted to ensure their body functions at it's best.

Your first appointment.

We will ask you to fill in a form about your current and past health. Your chiropractor will then talk with you about any health concerns you may have and how chiropractic care can benefit you.

Your chiropractor will run through a series of tests to confirm the current health of your spine and body.

X-rays will be taken at our office if necessary and your next appointment will be scheduled.

On your second appointment:

We will discuss your clinical findings (and x-rays if taken) and suggest a recommended schedule of care for you to gain the best possible outcome from your chiropractic care.

You will also receive your first chiropractic adjustment to start the healing process.

Generally children under 16 and pregnant women are not x-rayed.

How long will it take?

Your health today is the result of the events and stresses throughout your whole life that your body has not recovered from.

Your ability to listen to your body and your commitment to keeping to the suggested schedule of care will determine how well you benefit from chiropractic care.
